== Introduction == We're in the latter stages of desinging an iPhone app to help new math/science teachers plan whiteboard lectures. By running through a few tasks in our interactive prototype, you help us locate problem areas that we can address and improve. == Consent form == We'll need you to read and sign this simple consent form that says you agree to take part in this test, and that you agree to us recording your interactions with our prototype. No audio would be recorded and the video will record only your hands and the iPhone screen. Your face will never be recorded. So please think out loud because it helps us find problems more effectively. The video file may be uploaded onto the Internet as a part of the class Wiki. Your participation is completely voluntary, and you may stop this test at any time. == Roles of team members == - [Person 1] will be your facilitator. He'll introduce the tasks to you and give you help if you get stuck. - [Remaining People] will be observers. They will take notes on the session. Please try to ignore them. == Introduction to the Interface == This is our program's prototype. Even though it is not 100% complete, a wide range of features have already been implemented. We have found it to be reasonably bug free, so do not worry about causing the app to crash by bringing up unfinished features. Just use this app the same way you would use an app that you downloaded from the iTunes store. [Person 1] will give you a quick demonstration on how to use the app. [Person 1] will now describe some tasks for you to perform: Task 1: Task 2: Task 3: Task 4: == Done == One of our goals was to look for parts of the interface that caused frustration and also parts that were easy to use. What were some good and bad aspects to our interface? (Ask about interesting behavior, if any was observed.) (If made of use of 'Custom' element) I noticed that you used the 'Custom' element. How did you feel about having it available? Is it effective in its current form, or would you like to see changes made? Is there any other 'Custom' content you would like to have available/be able to create? How would you feel about doing the planning phase on your desktop? What are some pros/cons you can see to this approach? Do you have any other quetsions? Thank you for taking part in our usability survey!
